Prior to providing warranty service, SYLVANIA requires you to provide proof of purchase.  If your product requires registration, we recommend doing so within 3 months of the date of purchase.   This will be necessary to process a warranty claim and will help expedite the process. Warranty return shipping charges are the responsibility of the consumer.  

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from accident, misuse or abuse, lack of reasonable care, the affixing of any attachment not provided with the product or subjecting the product to any but the specified voltage.  Unauthorized repair, modification or customization of your product voids the warranty.  Note that cost of installation of our products is not covered by warranty. 

The product must be purchased from an authorized SYLVANIA reseller to qualify for a warranty replacement. Private sales are excluded. Purchases from online auction sites are not covered. EBAY® (as well as other online auction sites) are consumer to consumer marketplaces lacking quality control guidelines and expertise. Purchases made on Ebay must state the seller as ‘sylvania_automotive’ in order to be considered an authorized retailer. Purchases made on Amazon.com must state: ‘ships from and sold by Pattern’ in order to be considered an authorized retailer.

SYLVANIA Automotive Halogen Headlights Warranty

We offer a variety of halogen headlight options ranging from our basic bulbs to our SYLVANIA SilverStar® brand bulbs. Because our SYLVANIA SilverStar® brand bulbs are high performance products, they may require replacement at more frequent intervals than basic or original equipment manufacturer bulbs. All our halogen headlight bulbs are backed by a 12-month warranty. 

If your halogen bulbs do not meet your expectations within 12 months of purchase and they were purchased from an authorized retailer, we will gladly offer a replacement with proof of purchase. SYLVANIA HID Headlights Warranty

SYLVANIA Headlight Restoration Kit Warranty 

OSRAM SYLVANIA lnc. ("SYLVANIA") warrants the SYLVANIA Headlight Restoration Kit against failure to restore and maintain clarity to the purchaser's headlight lens exterior surface. Failure will be a condition that results in the sun's ultra violet rays, causing the outside surface of the headlamp lens to become cloudy and hazy to the extent that it obstructs or diffuses light from the headlight bulb as it passes through it. This warranty is void in situations of incorrect application or failure to property follow instructions. 

Remedy is limited to replacement of the Headlight Restoration Kit, or in a situation where the replacement product is not available, a refund of the purchase price (purchase receipt required). Warranty is valid for as long as the purchaser registrant owns the vehicle. The purchaser and registrant must register for warranty coverage at the time of purchase.
